Luminox introduces the new Navy SEAL 3550 Series - the next evolution of the brand’s most iconic collection. Inspired by decades of collaboration with the U.S. Navy SEALs, the new design maintains the rugged durability and tactical performance, while featuring a more streamlined, wearable profile designed to fit a wider range of wrist sizes.
"With the Navy SEAL 3550 Series, our goal was to evolve one of Luminox's most iconic collections by creating a slimmer, sleeker watch that sits more naturally on various wrist sizes, without compromising the toughness and functionality professionals rely on," said Pierrick Marcoux, Group Product Director at Luminox. "Every design decision was made to preserve the tactical DNA that has earned Luminox approval by the U.S. Navy SEALs in two independent evaluations, delivering the same uncompromising durability and reliability in a more refined, integrated form."
The Navy SEAL 3550 Series has been reengineered with a refined 44mm case shape and integrated strap design that creates a slimmer, sleeker, and balanced profile on the wrist. New features including a more protected crown, a bezel redesigned to sit seamlessly flush with the case, slimmer hands inspired by the original Luminox models, and a rugged texture strap combine to modernize the watch’s tactical aesthetic without sacrificing its functionality. Completing the design, the dial boasts numerals in Liberator Sans Heavy, the official font of the U.S. Navy, reinforcing the collection’s authentic military heritage.
At its core, the Navy SEAL 3550 Series remains unmistakably Luminox with its functional field watch operation design, the signature turtle-shaped case, 200 meters of water resistance, 16 Luminox Light Technology tubes for constant visibility, and a commemorative Navy SEAL engraving on the case back.
The Navy SEAL 3550 Series builds on a legacy that began in 1992, when Luminox developed the Original Navy SEAL 3001 with input from the U.S. Navy SEALs. Designed to withstand the demands of underwater missions, nighttime operations, and elite training, the watch quickly became a trusted tool for those operating in the most extreme conditions.
