Luminox announces the launch of the FORCE BLUE Official Watch, a purpose-built timepiece created in collaboration with non-profit FORCE BLUE - an elite team of former Special Operations divers now redeploying their skills in the service of conservation.
Engineered with direct input from FORCE BLUE’s retired Navy SEALs and Special Operations divers, the watch is designed for those who’ve traded combat missions for conservation dives. It carries forward the same mindset: precision, durability, and zero tolerance for failure.
Built for the demands of underwater operations, the watch retains key features essential to professional divers, including a robust 44mm 316L stainless steel case for superior corrosion resistance, a screw-in crown and case back for increased water integrity, and a lightweight yet durable CARBONOX™ unidirectional bezel.
Field-tested feedback from FORCE BLUE’s former special ops drove the details. An expandable rubber strap with an integrated extender fits easily over a wetsuit. Blue and yellow Luminox Light Technology ensures visibility in low-light and no-light environments. The dial features FORCE BLUE’s signature rope motif rendered in Super-LumiNova alongside gold accents inspired by the organization’s emblem.
The FORCE BLUE Official Watch is the culmination of a partnership years in the making. Since 2022, Luminox has supported FORCE BLUE on missions ranging from coral restoration in Key Biscayne to marine research and conservation initiatives in the Florida Keys, while also participating in the organization’s Ocean Conservation School for military families. With a shared commitment to service above and below the surface, the relationship underscores the enduring value of elite training and experience in advancing conservation efforts around the world.
Founder Jim Ritterhoff describes the partnership during the recent launch event of the watch, “Our brands are built from the same DNA. Performance means nothing if you don’t perform.
