Luminox has expanded its Navy SEAL Chronograph series with the introduction of the Navy SEAL 3587, a model constructed from the brand’s proprietary CARBONOX™ material and equipped with Luminox Light Technology (LLT) for 24/7 legibility.
The release continues a relationship between Luminox and the U.S. Navy SEALs that dates back more than 30 years. In 1992, the Assistant Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Officer for the Navy SEALs, Nick North selected Luminox to develop a watch capable of meeting the demands of night missions, where immediate readability and durability were essential. That continued focus on operational performance led to Luminox watches being independently approved again in 2013 for SEAL use, reinforcing the brand’s reputation as a supplier of professional-grade timing equipment.

The Navy SEAL 3587 continues the line of the Chronograph series, which was designed to withstand extreme physical and environmental stress, while providing useful timing functions. Its 45mm CARBONOX™ case (a lightweight, carbon-based composite) is engineered to offer high impact resistance while remaining comfortable during prolonged operations.
A defining feature of Luminox is Luminox Light Technology, a self-powered illumination system that uses micro gas light tubes to provide constant visibility. Unlike conventional luminous materials, the LLT system does not require exposure to light or manual activation and glows continuously for up to 25 years, making it particularly suited to low-light and no-light environments.
The sand and black colorway pays tribute to an era of desert deployments for Navy SEAL teams over the last 20 years. More than an aesthetic choice, the palette aligns the watch with the operational landscapes that shaped modern special force operations, while maintaining the understated, utilitarian appearance associated with military-issued equipment.
